Before you write

Is LibrePower free?

Yes. All community packages and tools are open source and free to use. We offer certified tiers and support plans for enterprise ISVs that need SLA guarantees.

How do I contribute?

Head to our GitLab. Fork a repo, submit a merge request, or open an issue. All contributions are welcome — code, docs, testing, and packaging.

What architectures do you support?

We compile and test on ppc64le (RHEL, Ubuntu, SLES), AIX 7.2+, and IBM i PASE. All builds run on real IBM Power hardware via our CI/CD infrastructure.

Do you offer consulting?

Yes — through our partner SIXE, an IBM Business Partner. We provide consulting, custom builds, training, and deployment support for IBM Power environments.
